Toyota Fortuner 2024 Review: The King of Pakistani Roads
The Toyota Fortuner has been the aspirational SUV for Pakistani buyers for over a decade. But does the 2024 model still deserve its premium price tag?
Design
The Fortuner has grown more aggressive in appearance with each generation. The current model features LED headlights, a bold grille, and an imposing stance that commands respect on the road.
Performance
Available with 2.7L petrol and 2.8L diesel options, the Fortuner delivers adequate power for city driving while being capable enough for off-road adventures.
Interior
The cabin is well-appointed with leather seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, and multiple driving assistance features. The third row of seats is genuinely usable, unlike many competitors.
Off-Road Capability
With 4WD capability and good ground clearance, the Fortuner can handle most of what Pakistani roads throw at it.
Verdict
At PKR 14-16 million, the Fortuner is not cheap. But its legendary reliability, strong after-sales support, and excellent resale value make it worth the investment for many buyers.
